Birmingham Cathedral.

Divine Beauty Conservation Project

Birmingham’s Divine Beauty.

Completed in 1715, The Cathedral Church of Saint Philip, commonly known as Birmingham Cathedral, stands as a timeless Baroque masterpiece designed by the renowned Thomas Archer, who also contributed to the grandeur of Chatsworth House.

In 1897, the cathedral gained further artistic acclaim with the addition of exquisite stained glass windows by Edward Burne-Jones, a local legend who was both born nearby and baptized within the cathedral's hallowed walls. These windows were carefully removed and preserved during the tumultuous times of World War II. Currently, they are undergoing a meticulously planned restoration, backed by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, to ensure their continued splendor for generations to come.

We are honored to contribute our expertise as Health and Safety Consultants, ensuring that both the conservation and restoration processes unfold safely and effectively.
